The Monon Food Fest is held during the first Saturday in June every year. The Rail City Cruisers have a huge car show with awards given out for a wide range of classes including a contest for loudest exhaust and best burnout. There is a wide variety of vendors there with both food and items for sale. There are also some live acts, pony and train rides and youth little league games going during the fest. Don't forget about the town wide yard sales that start at first daylight! If your a vendor and wish to be in the food fest, please contact the Monon Town Hall (219-253-6441).
